I havnt fully given up on Ribs and Bonk yet they both had bad years but I fully expect em to bring it around. And how on earth could Ribs screw up playing with Kovy and Samsnonv lol

why would i want ribeiro on my team? i already have jason williams who could play on a 2nd line center…so i don’t need ribeiro. plus, i REALLY don’t need him as a 3rd or 4th centerman, especially at 1.9M and he doesn’t even bring anything to the team except for losing pucks! however, let’s hope that gainey does in fact trade ribeiro(or even get rid of him) because he is the weak link in the offense right now…

so, as fun as it is to play being a GM, we have to be objective and not forget there are 29 other GMs who want to improve their team, not just montreal!

also, for the lines you created, i don’t think we can expect higgins to score more than 15-20 goals because it’s not his natural position. he is a 3rd liner and his best quality is protecting the puck, playing defensively. so yes he had a breakout season last year but that doesn’t mean he will repeat it every year…and i also think that since it’s the first time that montreal has 2 good potentital wingers, we should maybe think of koivu. in the 10 years he spent here he never had good wingers. the best he got before the lockout was …recchi and savage?so maybe we should give our captain 2 good wingers for the first time in his career…
