Eww, Kaberle was the cornerstone of a very bad Leaf era.

As much as you like Kaberle…Everyone who watched the series knew Chara/Seidenberg/Boychuk/Ference was the key to the Bruins run.

Kaberle led all Bruins defence in scoring in those playoffs with 14 points. Important piece of a Cup champion.

Also he’s put up the 5th most assists eve in a Leafs jersey, show some respect. Larry Murphy, Aki Berg, go ahead and bash but not Kaberle, not Sundin, not Salming, not Sittler, Keon, Gilmour, Lanny, etc.

Best thing moving forward for the Flames.

The ‘not-trading’ Sundin thing was another nuclear bomb to this franchise (along with the Kessel deal and many more).

Vancouver once offered a package of Ryan Kesler, although he’s been injury prone, the Leafs would’ve had a big center.

I’m just thanking GOD Burke got maximum value for that dead weight Kaberle.

Although, as great as Kadri has been, Kadri and Kaberle for Phil Kessel sounds alot better then Dougie Hamilton and Tyler Seguin.
