I loved Adrian Aucoin when he was an Islander last season, so I’d be more than happy to have him back. The Isles, however, need a lot more than a new defenseman to get somewhere this season. Some offense would be nice, but the Isles already ahve the offensive talent that just isn’t playing to their potential. It falls on the coach, Steve Stirling.

In that particular case, the player’s salary to be picked up by the new club is halved. In terms of a trade, then you’re right, they can’t.

A few things to share. Day 1 on this site and I finally signed up. Great site !

I like to introduce myself to you all. Im Caesar and I own www.islanderchat.com.

If the Islanders can get a zamboni driver for Numnutsimma and Kvasha they should do the trade in a NY minute.

Kvasha is a cancer and I honestly believe that Niminna borders on retardation.

If a scout is out there, and hopefully not reading this, and turns to the owners of his team and says they think Kvasha or Niminna is a good fit for their team, they should be fired as well and have never seen or followed either of these guys.

As far as Sterling goes….he is probably one of the worst coaches in the NHL. From benching guys for periods at a time for taking a penalty to switching lines. We waited for 37 years to get a someone to play with Yash…then he moves him on another line ( Satan )…WHEN THEY WHERE HOT !

I would love to see this trade go off…..cant believe it will!

CBC went as far as saying it will happen right after the holiday break (just so players can enkoy the holidays at home). No deal was speculated but they (the CBC and Sportsnet) said Chicago is looking hard at a few teams and in particular Toronto and Jason Allision. Not to get carried away i also heard that Chicago is willing to part with Mark Bell in a trade for a centre. So i just wanted to say that this is also a possible deal to look out for. As for the Islanders last i heard they were trying to trade Satan and a defensman Zhitnik, Ninimaa, but whatever became of the rumors of Parrish to Calgary… I really would have liked to see a team USA re-union with Amonte and Parrish.
