Ya, LN91 is the only regular on here who acts childish, and Lafleur from time to time. But even both those guys are pretty good a lot of the time.

And yes, I’ve had my account here since 2003 and I’ve really enjoyed it. I think they’ll sort out the problems and this will be a good site again.

I get what you mean though. I like this site because I know everyone and the discussions are usually informative and respectful (okay, maybe I get into it with LN91 now and again), that and the investment we’ve all put into it. Maybe it’ll get better over time.

The new format has hurt the volume and the depth of discussion I feel…. But my problem remains this… In the 5-6 some odd years I’ve been coming here, I’ve had the best time discussing hockey matters here… No where else ever compared… I can’t go anywhere else because there is just far too much stupidity and bias

Yeah, I think the site change might have hurt the dialogue a bit. I mean, as far as I know we can’t submit articles, or even see the articles we may have previously submitted. I enjoyed writing opinion pieces that sometime generated some comments, but now all we seem to have is news stories that are re-posted by Trade Man. I don’t come to this site for news, I come for discussion, and even though the news does generate some discussion it always seemed to be the opinions/questions/predictions that generated the longest and most interesting threads.

It’s been a boring off season here at Hockey trade rumors. Nobody is really posting anything, not that there’s anything to post. I remember last year there were a lot of topics with 200 comments.
