The salary cap is a big commie conspiracy! Nobody can sign nobody to big deals, how you gonna sign Kovalchuk.

You gotta bribe the NHL office and then grease local politicians and the Teamsters union. Some mafia kickbacks on the side.

These secret deals are made all the time. How you think the mob survived all these decades?

Who exactly was Jack Ruby? A mobster? Intelligence agent? Small time hustler? An honest dude who shot Oswald?

If you believe the last one, you're never gonna believe in conspiracies. Stop reading Time Magazine. Read the alternative media.

Maybe Bettman wants to set up an arrangement with the KHL so that they can plan their lock outs together....

.. or, more likely, he wants to expand to Europe. I say, F uck Europe, why not try expanding in a NEW hockey market, the south... South Africa. It's perfect, there are no teams and it could really grow the sport. Maybe move Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton out of their dying markets and send em to Cape Town, Johannesburg , Mangaung, Tshwane, Ekurhuleni, or Msunduzi.

Thankfully we have someone at the helm of the NHL that really knows hockey and hockey markets. Praise be to Bettman!
