Ish…Alright, if he wasn't friendly with Toronto's media, I can't imagine what they would do to him in Montreal then. At least in Toronto, they were both speaking the same language.

He seemed to have some off ice issues, he wasn't never very friendly with Toronto media (not that I can blame him). Just didn't show up every night, you could see the season wearing him down as it went on.

10:50PM - MORE KOZLOV RUMOURS Forward Slava Kozlov is currently weighing his options and sources say a deal should come tomorrow (99% chance {4% increase}) (9). Kozlov appears to be closer with the Stars but the bidding race is still between them and the Leafs. The Thrashers had an offer on the table but Kozlov declined it because the terms were too little. It's a battle between the Leafs and Stars, folks, who will win?

your an idiot. kozlov is gonna be a star. peca is not coming back to the leafs. they are not gonna move kubina cuz noone will take him. there is no more left for the leafs they are set. once you freaks get a taste of signings you become obsessed and thats when all these rediculous rumors get old and outta hand. stop. Y on earth would kozlov be in dallas to sign with toronto? is he gonna call JfJ on doug armstrongs phone and gonna say, "john doug would like to know if your interested in outbidding him." stupid.

8:17PM - (RUMOUR) Two more sources have confirmed Kozlov has narrowed it down to either Dallas or Toronto (10).

9:12PM - (RUMOUR) From a source, "If Kozlov does happen to reach a deal tonight, don't expect an official announcement until tomorrow. There's about a 95% chance that Kozlov signs by sundown tomorrow."

It would seem because Kozlov is in Dallas that he would sign a contract. But according to a source, Kozlov is still waiting to see if John Ferguson Jr. can make room for him via trade. Kozlov will want something around 4 to 4.5 million. With 2.2 million left in Toronto's pocket book, the Leafs would have to dump a bigger contract, say Kubina (4 mill). With this in mind, the Leafs could have around 6.2 mill to spend on Kozlov and possibly another forward, Peca??? My sources tell me that Peca is about 80% for signing back with the Leafs. Expect Kozlov to be signed by sundown tomorrow, either Dallas or the Leafs. Keep your faith Leafs fans, Kozlov is still very interested in playing in T.O.
