I find this story hard to believe, although it would be nice. Also, regarding the Coyotes being told to prepare to play - why would Trevor Linden tell Phoenix players to get ready, while his own keepe, Dan Cloutier, heads off to Austria. Naslund just went to Sweden too.

Surely the guy with the front row seat in all this would keep his teammates informed.

Does anyone know if the devils are going to get anyone new??

I think the devils need a good dman and also a natural score like Glen murry or samsonov.

Samsonov would do so good with the devils because of the way that they play. He would get so much room to skate and stickhandle, which would mean more goals.

What do u think the devils need??

Let me know plaese

The word around the campfire here in St. Louis is not the availability of Pronger but the availability of Doug Weight. He has been an absolute flop here in St. Louis (save the Vancouver series in the playoffs last year) and can be had. The hot and heavy rumor is that he is headed to Philadelphia for Handzus and a pick or two.

BTW, KFNS is a joke of a radio station and I would not believe a word ever spoken on their airwaves. For a much more acurate picture of the ST. Louis sports scene, read hadleyonsports.com. John Hadley works for KTRS her in St. Louis and is a reliable source of information.

That is why I added "or something to that effect." Try him with Hamrlik, Johnson, or Aucoin?

You guys really have some great d-men. I think a little re-working of the pairings would give you guys an advantage over most team in the league... not just the East!
