According to Eklund, Nabokov and another San Jose Shark may be traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs. This makes sense considering how Belfour has been struggling this year with consistancy.

Nik Antropov, Andy Wozniewski, Ed Belfour, Clarke Wilm & 3rd Round Draft Pick to Sane Jose for Alyn McCauley & Evgeni Nabokov

Jason Allison, Aki Berg, John Pohl & Tuukka Rask to Calgary for Jordan Leopold & Steven Reinprecht

Alexander Khavanov, Mariusz Czerkawski, Jay Harrison & 2nd Round Draft Pick for Barret Jackman

Alexander Steen - Mats Sundin - Darcy Tucker

Alexei Ponikarovsky - Eric Lindros - Steven Reinprecht

Matt Stajan - Alyn McCauley - Jeff O'Neill

Chad Kilger - Kyle Wellwood - Tie Domi

----------------------------------

Wade Belak

Tomas kaberle - Bryan McCabe

Jordan Leopold - Barret Jackman

Ken Klee - Carlo Colaiacovo

-------------------------------------

Staffan Kronwall

Evgeni Nabokov

Mikael Tellqvist

After these specific trades, it gives Toronto 6 solid defenseman, adds speed to the forward lines and gives Toronto a goaltender for next year and maybe years to come as long as he comes out of his slump.

yeah well it kind of sucks.

i mean, why punish leaf fans for posting speculations on a trade rumor website by relegating them to an obscure part of the website?

why not punish the idiots who keep making disrespectful posts - leaf fans and non-leaf fans included.

anyways, as you can see, this section is not getting a lot of hits because i don't think many know about it.

They had to make room for all the Theo trade talk for the past couple of weeks LOL.

Maybe because there are so many Leaf articles they decided to give them their own section. I believe the Canucks have one as well. I noticed there hadn't been as many Leaf articles as usual. This is my first visit to the Leafs section.

Come on look at your source, AM 640, you can't take them or rogers sportsnet seriously. They both employ the dumbest idiot to call himself a "hockey expert" Bill Waters. Both AM 640 and sportsnet are nothing but Leafs propaganda.

This would definitely be a good trade for the Leafs as they're lacking in depth upfront, and Malone's true talent can't be seen on a team with players that are overpaid and underachieving such as Palffy, LeClair, Gonchar etc, and Crosby in my opinion is pretty useless but that's just because I just don't like the kid. I've also heard rumors bringing Fata to Toronto as well, can anyone verify that? I'd see the line-up for offense more being:

Steen Sundin O'Neill

Tucker Lindros Malone

Poni Allison Stajan

Kilger Wellwood Domi
