I am not 100% sure Nonis is gonna trade Liles. I know everybody says there is no market, he is over paid etc. however, PMD are always in demand. I am not sure we should trade him either, I just don’t know if Kostka is an NHL dman, IMO.

we are not using him though and we have Gardiner in the Marlies. If we can get a decent return or upgrade another position then we should trade Liles. -$3.8M in dead cap for a piece or upgrade is a win of a deal.

I like Liles and hope the Leafs keep him. He’s a much better player than how he’s being treated. And the blueline has been remarkably healthy mostly, but injuries can strike any time and affect multiple players, then suddenly you wish you had Liles. Sure he’s not cheap but he’s still good.

Ship out Komisarek. That’s enough. Don’t get rid of both.

Okay, according to Kypreos…Bozak is looking for a contract around the 4-million mark and he will most likely get that through UFA.

I doubt, hope that Nonis does not sign him because our top-two centers(if you can call them that)will be making a combined 9-million. That is not worth it.

If the oilers make the playoffs than that 4th round conditional pick becomes a 3rd round pick, a possible 3rd round pick for Brown? suddenly I am an oilers fan.
