I try to think of it like this:

He's playing hockey with some of the greats now, in a place where he'll have his hands full trying to stop the Rocket from cutting to the net hard.  He's on a defensive pairing with Tim Horton.  There's no helmets, no injuries and no instigator rule.

My prayers are with his family and loved ones.

This is a very sad day for his family, hockey fans, the Vancouver Canucks and the entire organization.

I really liked this young player, he was supposed to be huge in the future for the Canucks as he was their top prospect and a very good player that was developing.

I was hoping at the trade deadline the Leafs were going to trade Sundin for him, because he was just that talented.

Its sad to see another young hockey player die, their has been to many in the last few years with Dan Snyder, Mickey Renaud and now Luc Bourdon, this is very sad to see as they all seem liked future great players.

I give my condolences to the family, as I know its hard to lose someone that is so close to you.

What other bad news can be thrown to the Vancouver Canucks this season? Tis is the worst byfar as a life was tragically taken away. God bless.

Shocking and sad to see this tragedy on the news today in a world that needs no more bad news. I started thinking about some of the other players we've lost, Sergei Zholtok and Roman Lyashenko added to the list someone else posted. A terrible blow to hockey fans and Canuck fans alike, I think today we are all Vancouver Canuck fans. My condolences and prayers to the Bourdon family, friends, and the Vancouver Canuck family.
