After hearing Kessel’s comments about his friendship with Bozak, I would be cautious to trade this guy. I am not a big fan of Bozak and especially not a big fan of him as our no.1 centre.

But Kessel will be a UFA at the end of next season, and we need every reason we can to keep him here, WE CANNOT LOSE KEESEL FOR NOTHING.

If keeping Bozak will encourage Kessel to resign than keep him, however I do feel Bozak should be demoted to the third line because he is not a top 6 player at all on any team in this league. But keeping Bozak somewhere in the line up should be good enough to make Kessel happy, than trade Bozak a year later..lol

Really for this group to be successful we need Reimer to be great and give us timely saves, we need Kessel and Lupul to do it up again, we need Komarov to step in and make an impact, Kadri has to step up, everyone has to play great defensive hockey, and everyone has to be at their best, especially JVR, Kulemin, Grabovski, MacArthur, and Phaneuf.

Who knows, if they buy into Randy Carlyle hockey this team could turn a few heads. More likely to finish in last than first, but could be in the playoff hunt. Which would be cool.

If we miss the playoffs we might as well finish dead last.

I’m actually digging the youth. Get Connolly and Lombo out of there. Get some grit back on the team with Orr, Komorov. Looking good. And I agree with what you’re saying about Frattin, Nords.

If Nonis trades Carl Gunnarsson and Tyler Bozak for Luongo without getting a top prospect or 1st round pick back from Vancouver as well I will boycott the Leafs until Nonis’ inevitable firing in the next year or two.
