oh...you mean to tell me chicago woke up and realized Duncan Keith and Brent Sopal arent top pair defensemen????

chicago has been looking for a number one defenceman since last offseason. however after signing aucoin have been really picky(say people i know). for example rumors of aquiring Jovo, Redden...but neither deal got done.

this seems to me like nothing more than a leaf follower seeing chicago rumors and throwing a toronto spin on it.

the last thing the hawks need is McCabe.

IF they were to take him, we would likely have to take khabbibulin in Return.

chicago will have a better season than toronto anyway so just send him there for a 1st round draft pick.

I don't know, I just can't see anyone being all that interested in McCabe. Yea, he'd be a good PP quarterback, but not at his salary. And, as we keep seeing time and time again, he shouldn't be on the ice if it isn't a power play...and even then...

But hey, I'd do a back-flip if this turned out to be true.
