Hey man, your so quick to send Antropov packing out of town from Florida after playing a year there, but fail to make any sort of claim to backup the fact that Bouwmeester is heading to UFA as well!

So, put the show on the other foot for a second! If Antropov and Stajan decide Florida is the place to be, and Antropov becomes a top six forward for the Panthers with Stajan toiling around third line. Meanwhile Bouwmeester doesn't want any part of a rebuild in Toronto after spending his entire career waiting for Florida to rebuild, and he leaves town after a year. Who got the better deal?

Ya but its supply and demand. If we get 5 or 6 teams interested and they all start throwing out offers, then all the sudden a bag of pucks isn't a good deal at all. Even if that's all he *should* be worth. know what im sayin

if this has to wait til sept til this bonus that mccabe is due is over and done with, thats quite a bit of time for either another team to get in on this or this to completely fall apart.

i guess the latter just because the leafs are good at making a mess of something.

the word is van ryn coming back if this actually works out. its really a no brainer. the cats have a glut of Dmen so if they're getting one, they would like to move one out. secondly his 2.9 mil salary for the next 2 years will make mccabe's cap hit easier to swallow.

wouldnt shock me if the leafs were to find a 3rd team to get involved and take van ryn. he is another offensive defenceman they dont need.

2nd in 09 went in the luke schenn trade.

2nd in 2010 is out of the question too. that went in the grabovski trade

yes, he's saying a prospect/pick will come with Van Ryn in TO, but I can guarantee you Frolik isn't moving. He's their best prospect, along with Keaton Ellerby. so he's staying in Florida, 100%.

Anthony Stewart is a very probable choice, Gregory Campbell may as well move with Van Ryn. Or maybe even Kreps. But Frolik, Matthias and Booth aren't moving.

otherwise, it's gonna be a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Why does every Leaf fan now think McCabe has value? In ANY trade involving McCabe the Leafs will be taking an overpriced player in return, NOT A FORMER 3RD OVERALL PICK, AND POSSIBILY FUTURE FRANCHISE DEFENSEMEN. If it's a package, no trade will involve J Bo.

That trade doesn't make sense for Toronto man. Id rather keep McCabe. If Fletcher makes this move, I'll fu**ing lose it.
