Visnovsky to the Islanders for a 2nd was a nice pick up. He had a bad, injury plagued season, but a year ago he led all NHL dmen in points with 68, on a pretty mediocre Ducks team.

Visnovsky has been in that 60 point range a few times in his career, and I think he’s gonna work really well with Streit, Tavares, and Moulson on the Islanders PP. They just need one more weapon and it could be a potentially deadly PP.

It’s three picks, a 2nd and two 4th rounders. Really Nashville set the price of backups with potential after the Tampa trade. I’d be more impressed if this happened before that trade but I suppose for what they signed him for it’s pretty good.

I do actually think he’s correct. I think I watched last year’s on their site.

But yeah they usually aren’t the best streams.

if they could get him for a cheep 1 year, why not. He certainly doesn’t make them a worse team. Cap etc., though.

Joel, I think TSN is actually streaming the draft off the website, i could be wrong though. Also read reports on Sportsnet about Lou and the Leafs, lol, it is kinda funny to read. I don’t think Gillis is the most popular GM from the comments….lol.

oh it was a fair price.

its just that Gustavsson, after all that work to lure him to Toronto and develop him, will now leave for nothing.

And he certainly was more heralded than Bobrovsky who came out of nowhere really.
