Oilers not in serious contention for Heatley
Senators have only one solid offer so far

Ottawa Senators’ general manager Bryan Murray says he only has one pitch on the table for Dany Heatley he would consider past the tire-kicking stage as he heads to the NHL draft this week.
It’s not the Copper and Blue.
“The Oilers aren’t close,” said a source.
“Only one team is near where I want to be,” Murray told Ottawa reporters Monday, saying other teams are in the “suggesting ideas” category for now.
Murray wouldn’t say who the best offer has come from, but it could be the San Jose Sharks or Los Angeles Kings, although if San Jose is offering captain Patrick Marleau or the Kings dangle winger Alexander Frolov, that doesn’t help Murray much because both are unrestricted free-agents in July 2010. The Sharks could move Milan Michalek and one of their young defencemen, however.
As for the Oilers, GM Steve Tambellini will talk to Murray in Montreal to see if he can get past the interest stage. Two years ago, Murray and then Oilers GM Kevin Lowe also talked, but it was about acquiring Wade Redden.
