Panthers Look to Grab Another big name

The Florida Panthers have (for the past few days) been in negotiations with Tronto Maple Leaf’s Alexander Mogilny. Mogilny’s client has recently told the media that his client is fully healthy after having reconstructive hip surgery.

It is believed by some that Mogilny is interested in the Panthers so that he can play with former teamate Joe Nieuwendyk and Gary Roberts. Mogilny tallied 8 goals and 22 assists in only 37 games with the Leafs in the 03-04 season.

This would be a great pick up for the Panthers who have already done alot this off season of boosting up their lineup to make them what many believe a playoff caliber team. We’ll see what happens with this

Thank God i hope the Panthers get Mogilny i dont wanto see him go to a bad team like the Caps. I will also be glad to cheer for the panthers now that they have Roberts and Newi. As a LEAF FAN it is hard to accept the loss of my fav leaf Mogilny. HOPE THEY HAVE A GOOD YEAR :)

Thats good for Alex, hope all works well for him, he should enjoy his retirement in Florida……as for the Leafs in their new direction lets hope they can hold together….I really think they should take a chance on Eric Lindros, he may excel playing in his backyard……..what about Adam Deadmarsh is his career over, i thought he last played for LA……is he in same boat as Allison…..hopefully leafs can get Carter as well and all 3 have a banner year…..
