marleau is overated and washedup. trading kaberle would be a huge mistake and hes just entering his prime years..

The only way I'd trade Kaberle is if the trade involved a superstar like Kovalchuk or Nash, and Kaberle was part of the package.

Certainly if you're going to get a superstar, you have to pay a premium.

Otherwise, trading Kaberle would result in virtually no upgrade to your roster. The drawbacks would exceed the benefits in my opinion.

I agree that his puck handling abilities are excellent and you don't get any better on the PP. But all in all Kaberle is a very soft D-man and is never willing to hit or get hit to make a play. I just don't agree with your 3. I would love to have Marleau, but would much rather give up McCabe.
