with the cap going up to around 49 mil the wings should offer schneider 4 for 2 years. hasek 2.5 for 1 year and bertuzzi 3 for 1 year, actually 2 for 1 year but he prolly wants 3

Detroit has wanted out of their division for years themselves. Ken Holland was promised if the next time any teams were shuffled the wings would be in the Ottawa division

You both have it wrong…Florida already got a 2nd round pick for the Wings making it to the Western Conference Finals and it would have been a 1st rounder if they made it to the finals but they didn't so it only cost them the 2nd rounder so far. If they resign Bertuzzi it will cost them another 2nd rounder that's it.

More like Bertuzzi had his one good season, and after that *****ed up his career with his bullshit cheap shot on Steve Moore. Quite frankly I don't care where this asshole goes as long as it ain't with the Habs.

From what I've heard Bertuzzi said he'd like to finnish his career as a wing. I have never once heard ever anywhere but here and now that he'll go to Toronto for a reduced price.

I know what you're saying, but I don't think Detroit is looking for Central Division crowns. They want the rings. Bertuzzi isn't effective any more in my opinion, but if they want to sign him, more power to them. What would be interesting is I recall something in the trade with Florida that stipulated draft pick compensation if Bertuzzi is resigned. Is he worth a 1st round pick to sign at his age and physical ability? Ehh…
