agree completely if I won the Stanley Cup, made millions of dollars I would be going out getting drunk and banging everything in sight, lol.

If Kane’s value has dropped to the point where he would be a straight up trade for Luke Schenn then we should make a play for him (whether we send them Schenn or a package like Franson/Gunnarsson ++).

Fair enough, I get what you’re saying. Personally I’d just prefer a guy that’s comitted year round, not a party boy guy that creates negative publicity.

Kane is supposed castrate himself so please his bosses and public image? Guys who are ‘good in the dressing room’ are just followers whereas guys like Kane score cup winning goals.

The last time the Leafs were competitive they had a split dressing btw (Corson, Roberts, Tucker, Cujo vs the rest of the room).

If he’s at all available the Leafs should make a play for Brendan Morrow. If not they should obtain the rights of Ryan Smyth or Shane Doan. One gritty veteran winger. Any of those guys could literally plug anywhere in the line up.
