LW’ers are right, Alfredson should be 2nd and hossa 3rd for RW’ers then Center’s you have messed up. 3rd should be savard, 2nd forsberg and 1st is def. thornton. Thats how it should be.

  2. skidragoon says:

centers are really bad cant say much about the rest but brindamour shouldnt be there 100% unless you put yashin above him but your a sens fan so cant expect that

  3. Tweek says:

im a little confused about all this plays out, all I know is as much as I dislike alffy, I think he is the best foward in the league this year and would be my MVP pick as of right now, the sens didnt look confident at all without him and he is more valuable to that team then I thought, im still not a fan, I just respect the skills….haha

  4. Neely4Life says:

All i know is Alfi is defently the mid season MVP, its obvious how valuable to the sens alfi is. He makes the team go.

  5. SensfanVone says:

About thr Rod Brindamour thing a few sites have him listed as number one so i thought id take into consideration that the experts rate him so highly Id rather Thornton there.

  6. wheresthesoda says:

keep it up, add a little more depth, i like these kind of articles

  7. Trickst says:

can’t really disagree with any of your picks, i like seeing jagr first though. he is lighting it up like ZEUS

  8. wingerxxx says:

It’s hard to really pick definite spots for some of those wingers. Kovalchuk, Hossa, Heatley, and Ovechkin all shift around from the right to the left side. Ovechkin plays both right and left wing is practically every game. I would just make the rankings between centers, wingers and possibly defensemen and goaltenders for something like this. It’s your study and article though, so you can feel free to do what you like. But it is an interesting way to rank them.

  9. nordiques100 says:

it’s pretty funny how every single player listed is in the eastern conference. when will the west get respect?

  10. Scruffy05 says:

West… what West?? What’s this ‘West’? You mean the WHL?

    ps… I’m from BC… sarcasm doesn’t type well…

  11. Memtown says:

Are you F***ing stupid. Savard is the man look at his stats. Forsberg is dragging his rear. I would almost put Ovechkin above him.

  12. bernie1parent says:

alright, so savard is setting up hossa and kovulchuk, two premier players who dont need a set up man to score. Forsberg has gags and knuble. gags can score by himself sometimes and knuble needs the set up man. Thornton has nobody of great caliber and is still tearing it up.

    Thornton-GP39 15G 44A 59

    Forsberg-37GP 14G 42A 56

    Savard-45GP 20G 42A 62

and by those stats, at the same amount of GP, Forsberg and thornton would both have more points then Savard on worse lines. So the real question is Are You *****ING stupid! and you can’t put ovechkin above him b/c he is a winger not a center you dumbass.

  13. bammer91 says:

funny how there all from the east

  14. radiod927 says:

    Where is Eric Staal?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  15. mtrakker85 says:

What players is the west are outdoing the ones listed?

  16. nordiques100 says:

i think joe thornton is pretty good

  17. leafs_r_a_joke says:

Better then Rod Brindamour? c’mon don’t be silly.

  18. FoppaFlyers21 says:

hahahahahaha….. i guess you told him

  19. FoppaFlyers21 says:

funny how the post DIRECTLY above yours says the exact same thing. The reason no one from the West was mentioned is because no one from the West is performing as good (except Thornton… who is East at heart). Maybe you should write an article on the best West performers (Thornton, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, etc.)

  20. paul_dc10 says:

if this is supost to be on this weeks top players, alfy didnt play this week

  21. Kamakaze says:

Perhaps havine 3 centers, 6 wingers, 3 defensemen, 3 goalies?

  22. SensfanVone says:

so he scored 2 gols and 2 assists on the bench

  23. SensfanVone says:

    good idea!! 🙂

  24. SensfanVone says:

For everyone complaining about the lack of western players look at my risers and fallers who are 75% west…lol….:)

  25. SensfanVone says:

HAHAHAHA like I said I’d prefer Thornton there but some of the sites I was on had him listed as #1 so I gave him some props and Eric Staal is good and may be there next time we’ll see.
