That's ok. It was speculated that Boston was eying him down using that as bait, but they look like they don't need to make room for him on the already well balanced line-up.

I agree, I am not a huge fan of Shanny but he is tough and can still score around 20-25 goals a year. If they can get him for a good price I say good on the Pens.

It certainly was a great game. Much akin to the Rangers collapse last year against the Habs. That was also pretty epic.

Shanny's also the type of player that never gives up on a play, and will win a fight for anyone, unlike Hal Gill. No solid North American veterans on the Pens, unless you call Gonchar or Satan North American. The Pens (J-Staal) did show off to the world that they are capable of comeback. Best game I've watched live on Versus in years.

Except he wont agree to go to Ottawa OR Florida. He wants to stay close to NY so he doesnt have to move his family again.

For the record nobody wants to give up a real solid goalie,and no Khabibulin is not worth his salary.The only goalies worth making an offer for that could be available are either Harding in Minesota or maybe Roloson(still a gamble though) in Edmonton.
