His this is a leaf fan site or what ?? Because I hate the leafs ! And you guys are right about the leafs posts… Each time there’s a player available there’s a post saying the leafs wants him….

Since the website is going through changes, I have a recommendation...

It is very tough to see where we have posted on really large article turnouts, like Miksters bashing the draft. There was over 200 comments, and finding what you have typed and who has responded has taken awhile. Why not do a yellow highligh next to what we have done, or something like that?

The Rangers rank high up in cap space in the NHL. I wouldn't be surprised if they make 1 or 2 big UFA signings. As long as Jagr's around, it won't be a full-blown youth movement.

Who says it has to be that way anyway? A star or two to help the kids along would be great.

ONeill was cheaper than I thought. 2 years at 1.5 per year.

I can't see Foote taking a paycut to come. I'm guessing he would want around 3 mil.

If we were to resign everybody and have Joe and Gary w/ a paycut, we are still tight on salary assuming we sign either Allison or Lindros.

I don't get why ppl are bashing our posts. I can understand Neidermaiyer, Thornton, Naslund, Forsberg, and Pronger... but Foote, Rathjie, Lindros, Allison, and Oneill are legitimate rumours.

I still predict that from those four, at least one more is going to come. I have no idea who, but I'm praying its Rathjie.

well, we already have O'Neill and that cost us a 4th round pick. Face it, the Leafs have holes in their roster, and they have some money left. They will pick up a couple players at least, so why not two Canadian kids who may have had the dream of playing for the Leafs one day?

And not only that, did some of you even read the article? He even questions these rumors. What does he have to do, spell it out for you? Oh wait, he has, and some of you still don't understand what speculation means!

Not only that, the fans aren't pulling these names out of a magicians hat. This is from the media. The media isn't always correct, but they're the ones that start these rumors. I don't understand why people always shoot the messenger.

Oh, and I can also think back to last year when the leafs acquired Leetch. No one believed he would end up in a Leafs uniform, but it happened. And please don't give me any garbage about his age or play, because anyone can criticize in retrospect.

Hm, it's funny, people were even *****ing about the rumors on Jeff O'Neill...

This isn't a crazy rumor, this is actually somewhat credible. Give me one hockey player who is from the GTA and didn't want to play for the Leafs as a kid.

But, I agree, he's not the man for the job. He's already reached the pinnacle of his career.

Just as predictable as Leaf fans supposedly are in speculating which players may be in a Leaf uniform (and this is different from everyone else how?) is the even more predictable response from Leaf bashers who typically and uncreatively start their sarcastic sentences with "gee, i think rocket richard, howie morenz, and ted lindsay might lace up their skates to play for the leafs ... ha ha ha."

be somewhat original and unpredictable for once. at least leaf fans make sure their speculations are entertaining and somewhat unpredictable.

if you don't like the speculations, then don't read them.
