No hes not, Rask for White was clearly a joke. But in retrospect isnt it sad how White is worth more then Raycroft yet Chiarelli managed to pull that trade off?

First point f...k Lindros.Ok lets talk about hockey now.
I think Boston will have trouble moving Murray due to his salary but if they can they should look towards San Jose.
Edmonton have lots of defensemen hurt so maybe Ottawa can trade them Corvo(Brian Lee will be here soon)
If Montreal can pull that one i' d say go for it but i doubt Tampa would be that stupid though.

I don't like Theo Fleury, never have and never will but I'll give respect where respect is due. The guy ws 5'6" playing in an era where the average height went from 6' to 6"2 in a 10 year span. And he played with the same intensity and the same desire throughout the 90's and even somewhat in the New Millenium. Not alot of players can boast they have played 1000 games, scored 450 goals, net 1000 points and serve 1800+ Penalty Minutes.

Lindros was only good during the 90's when hockey was about wrestling. Not a good leader, never attained the high standards he was supposed too, also refused to report to the team that drafted him… But hey! If Dick Duff was admitted last year, Lindros can be there! The same goes to Pierre Turgeon, Theo Fleury, Igor Larionov, Kevin Hatcher, Al Iafrate and possibly Todd Bertuzzi….

I have a tonne of respect for Milan Lucic, he's going to be a force in a few years. He's got it all, defensive prowess, toughness, aggression, checking ability, play-making skills, goal-scoring instincts. And to think, he came from no where to lead the Vancouver Giants to a Memorial Cup win.

As for Rask for White, is Peter Chairelli as dumb as JFJ?

I dont think Zidlicky is going anywere, especially with Weber hurt. As much as it would be good to trade away McCabe, they can look at him all they want, he has a NTC and he wont waive it to play for Chicago of all places. Jovo is a dominating player at times but makes Zdeno Chara money and thats too much. The most likely candidate in this case would be Morris.

JFJ made a mistake by sending down Gamache, he was a pretty energetic player and was playing better then alot of others on the team. Keeping guys like Pohl, Devereaux and Battaglia around is a waste of a roster spot and wont teach the kids a thing to play second fiddle to such waste of skin in those 3.

Boston doesnt have much worth that the Leafs could benefit from trading White or Stralman. It would be FOOLHARDY to trade Stralman at this point, its his FIRST YEAR in north america. Because he isnt playing well at the moment JFJ wont get much for him, and if he DOES end up being great then you just made an idiotic trade to gain very little.

If there about to trade White to Boston FINE, but i want Tuuka Rask back!! or at the least Milan Lucic, hes a tough kid

If you read what I said, you'll note that I do think that Lindros grew up as a person as his career went on. The incident about the medical staff in Philly, I don't really hold against him at all.

Lindros has several problems about Hall of Fame induction.

First, he was a very questionable leader during his best playing days. The fiascos in the 1998 Nagano Olympics and the Stanley Cup finals against Detroit really don't help this assessment. Although him being captain of the Nagano squad is really the fault of the GM in charge of that team.

Second, he has not reached any career milestones of note.

His last several years in the league, he was NOT a top NHL player. Certainly not Hall of Fame quality. In the end, he was a 3rd, 4th line right winger.

His only Hart Trophy came in a shortened NHL season. Which is about the only way he could have won it, considering his health issues. Durability, to me, is one of the most important things about being a hockey player, and Lindros just didn't have it. Part of that is due to his style of play. But regardless, he had a very short "prime" of his career.

He put up pretty numbers, but not great numbers. For a couple of years, he was really the best offensive forward in the league. For a couple of years. And there are players in the Hockey Hall of Fame with lesser credentials. I think he will be inducted in at some point, but I just don't accept Lindros as one of the all time great players. That, to me, is what the Hockey Hall of Fame represents.

I don't think Lindros should make the hall of fame based on a few good productive years with the Flyers before he was no longer effective, the last few years with the leafs/stars/rangers he's been an overpaid has-been.

To me Lindros always reminded me of a spoiled kid whose parents got too involved and ran his life and made all his decisions. I could only picture Lindros when he was 7 years old playing midget hockey and imagining is dead-beat-hockey-fanatic-parents in the stands screaming at his team mates, his coach, and the refs every 5 seconds.
