I forgot Lapierre, after a long look i don't think MTL has any space for an UFA, they actually will have to make space look at all the NHL ready players with the habs!
Samsonov, Kovalev, koivu, Ryder,Latend, Kostitsyn,Plek, Higgins,Begin,Grabovski,Milroy,Chipchura,Locke, Lapierre, Murray,Bouillon, Markov, Dandenault, O'Byrne, Jancevski,Streit, Gorges, Lahti ,Halak, Price, Huet, Danis.

I think all these guys are NHL ready and will play in NHL next year even if it's not with the Habs, i also see a few trades! Why trade Samsonov don't anyone wants him, even for a trade involving another overpaid bum?

What if Gaigney signs Yashin( 4.4 mil/year) to wake the other two russian up and sign a good D-man( Hannan) and let go of Souray.

I say keep Huet till the deadline , it's the last year on his contract and becomes UFA next season, will have a huge year. Huet's value should be right up there at the deadline.

Unless he comes back for a song and dance I don't see the Flyers bidding on him. As much as I would love to have him back for 50% of the games I don't see it. He needs to go to a team like Anaheim, Vancouver or San Jose that can hide him for a few months until he's needed for the run.

You can spread out the cap hit on buyouts over 2x the amount of year remaining on the contract. So for Theo it would be about 1.8 mil this year ,and 1.8 mil next. Not that bad.

Sorry the official date for buying players out begins on June 15th, so he has not been bought out yet but Wang and Snow have both said that it will happen.

The Islanders just bought out Yashin's contract, you can add his name to the list of UFA's.

GM Giguere has already said he doesnt play on buying out Theo. His cap hit is $5.3M, to buy him out would cause a cap hit of $4M thus saving only $1.3M in cap space with which theyd still need a backup.

better off hiring a motivational speaker or a hypnotist...

I don't want Philly to resign Forsberg unless they got him for cheap. He is just going to be injured most of the year. I rather them sign Gomez or Briere. We need a number one center or will be in the line up every night.
