Recchi could play the other wing but so could Palffy.

Either way, they’ll still have a dynamic second line that they could want a capable, experienced centerman for if it’s in the budget.

Also, who is on what line will change quite often do to injuries I imagine. This again means the Pens would like another centre iceman as Mario will likely miss many games. 50 games is a complete season for him.

I’ve been hoping for Perrault to sign with Edmonton for a long time now. He’d be a good fit, and maybe playing with a player like Smyth would show him how to play with more heart. Deadmarsh would also be nice. Brewer gone makes me cry, but Pronger is gonna be great on D for them. What I hate is they’re not filling any holes. They’re trading player for player – they haven’t gained. We need some scoring touch here, and trading C for C does not get you anywhere. It’ll be interesting to see what moves they make yet.
