how does the waiver thing work with halving the contract….if that is so that for all waiver claims then baumgartner becomes an affordable depth player.

Picking up an offensive D man would make it a bit easier to move Souray. Both players appear to be of the same type (better on offense than on defense). Same if the team intends to move Rivet. I think his cap is 2.5M this year, and I BELIEVE (don't quote me on this) that habs have about 3M under. What's Oleg's contract like?Might be an interesting.
