ya i like tucker alot but he is gunna be expensive at the end of the year and i'd rather trade him and get something out of him than lose him to free agency.

Zherdev is a young player who will be eventually at the top of the league. One of the big reasons why he isnt playing well is because he doesnt like it in Columbus, and with him on Sundin's wing they would be pretty good.
Don't get me wrong i love tucker and the way he effects the hockey club but with JFJ as the manager and his history of making rediculous contracts i just don't think it will be best for the future of the franchise. And your right Tucker should go to a contender but what if he plays a huge role in the playoffs for that team, he is more than likely going to be expensive come July 1st and i just dnt think the Leafs could use him as much as they could use someone else with the same amount of salary.

im not saying that they should blow up the team im just saying that tuckers is gunna be very expensive at the end of the year.
and langkow can play wing pretty well

tuckers a good player but this year he is injuried and he is always whining and he cant fight anymore trade him for value like prospects or trade him for a veteran like roberts or stumpel and picks

The Zherdev Trade is rediculous.
Tucker is not only a PRODUCTIVE player now but more valuable for the immediate future.
Zherdev is very cold right now, and is lazy at times as part of his character.
Tucker Straight up for Zherdev right now is a rip-off, nevermind the inclusion of a 2nd round pick.
If columbus was to give up a 2nd round pick with Zherdev, for Tucker then you'd be talking.

This is a rediculous debate anyways because Tucker will go to a contender not a seller-dweller. Tuckers leadership would be very good influence in Columbus, but it isn't gonna happen. Not to mention the leafs would like to bring him back, but at a lower price.

The leafs would ideally like to deal him to a playoff contender, and have him do badly. Then resign him to a smaller contract on account of his poor playoff performance.
