the all star game is not some magical event. It is a fun event for the fans, theres nothing wrong with letting fans put their favorite players on the ballot.

I dont hate everything about the league. I hate four things and I've listed them above.

Im sure all West coast fans are thrilled that the Habs, Leafs, and even Ovechin, Crosby, and Malik only comes around once in four years.

I'll admit, the shootouts are fun to watch but I still think its a poor way to decide a game of hockey. My opinion and Im sure many people agree.

The all-star voting system is a joke. Thus the atricle, vote for Rory. If Rory Fitzpatrick can make it into the all-star game, or come close, something needs to be changed. But as I stated above, this is being done as a joke to prove something to the NHL. I hope it works

As for the penalties, I wont even go there.

Make a mockery of the league? I think the league can do that by itself lately..... bullshit all-star balloting, too many penalties, retarded schedule, shootouts suck, etc.

By the way. I've never, nor never will, vote rory into the allstar game.
