Players stuck in the minors can walk away from contracts if they feel it's holding them back from going back to the NHL. I'm sure the teams would not mind. There might be a bit of legalizing that will need to be done, but they could do it. They won't because the NHLPA would lose their minds as this would likely be the first step towards NFL non-guaranteed contracts.

As a coach or GM i want the best regardless of their language, but its most likely gonna be a french coach, My favorite player of all time is Patrick Roy and I wouldn't mind seeing him behind the bench, he would bring so much needed emotion.

As for GM he'll have to be Reserved, being a quiet GM in Montreal is a quality, Thats why I rather have Roy as a coach and someone else as GM, maybe Julien Brisebois, hes young, smart and already has a lot of experience. If not I would give Andre Savard another shot, him and Timmins at a draft table would be great, look up his picks when he was a scout!

Im pretty sure that both those jobs will be fill by two guys that no one expects.

hahaha well it's not entirely gionta's fault you guys collapsed from the 3rd of march on because up to that point you guys were in a playoff position i think you guys quit on wilson to which had alot to do with it that and gustavsson and reimer's goaltending let you down big time.i even you guys even had a franchise record of 11 straight losses on home ice that killed your playoff asperations as well

Hey notorious i think we should take grigorenko,i read that he's extremely talented and has malkin like skill and talent,so if that's the case you take him especially because he's that big center ,he could potentially be a franchise type forward something we don't have ,however we do have a franchise goalie in price, and a franchise defenceman in subban1 however if edmonton picks second and takes grigorenko on us then i think we take galchenyuk,but i'm really scared of him because of that kneee and we don't want to get into another markov situation with a knee injury so i'd take forsberg because of that,i agree with you on trevor timmins,as you know on here i'm a big booster and supporter of him and he's 1 of the best talent scouts in the league his record speaks for itself.I'd love to have us win the lottery and take yakupov because with the talen we could surround him with he'd be a nother pavel bure type player and plekanec would have a elite winger to play with and if somehow you put gionta,or gallagher with himthat gives us 2 very good lines and lots of options for the other 2 lines. what do you think of leblanc i think he'll be a soldi secon line center . i heard next years draft is very deep to and if we still finish in the bottom 2 -3 we could get nathan mackinnonhe's a crosby type player form everything i've read about him,i read really good things about dumba and murray as well but i have to agree we don't need them ,as we have beaulieu coming and i think he's as good as they are ,and potentially could be better! i like your idea of trading our 2 2nd rounders to move up and draft malcolm subban! that would give us an awesome goaltender prospect behind price and we'd be set in goal for a very long time!
man this is an exciting time to be a habs fan with the decsion coming on our new g.m. and coach and the draft! who do you want as coach and g.m. Notorious? or who would you like to see us hire?i will give you my thoughts and opinions in my next reply to your ,reply on this!

haha………your right there sorry man it's hard to get used to that thanks for clearing that up for me! yeah i agree we are both biased haha not we both will argue to the end with no one winning lol ! but we both have good players and really bad players i think we both can agree on that,and we both have players that are better than one another's !

I think there will be a lot more change on the Bulldogs line-up than there will be with the Habs next year.

A lot of guys could make it up to the AHL next year, It might look like the Habs dont have that many prospects but it will be different next year.

Patteryn,Kristo, Bournival, Ellis, Beaulieu, Benett, Gallagher, Holland, Dietz, Nygren, Pribyl and Tinordi all look ready to make the jump next season.

The new GM will have a lot of work to do and not just at the NHL level.

Hey Lafleur, who do you want, Grigo, Galchenyuck or Forsberg??? Galchenyck was injured a lot so its hard to tell, Grigorenko from what Ive seen and heard could fall in the draft just like Fowler did a couple years ago but I keep on hearing great things about Forsberg.

We(habs fans) always get surprise by Timmins, and for me hes the one guy that should stay with the Habs for at least a few more years, what can we say against Timmins??? Im sure hes gonna make the right choice but I dont think that this year draft has much talent in it, yakupov himself isn't as great as the previous years 1st overall picks(Hopkin, Hall,Tavares and Stamkos), I think that yakupov is very explosive but very one dimensional.

Im not sayin that Yakupov sucks, all im sayin is next year draft should be much deeper. To me its clear that Murray and Dumba are better than Grigorenko or Forsberg but the Habs cant afford to draft another dman???

BTW i think the habs should trade both their 2nd rounder to move up and draft the other Subban, what do u think?
