Jimmy Howard is pretty much entrenched as the starter in Detroit and really isn't going anywhere. If Vokoun wants a shot at a starters spot, he'd have a much better shot in Toronto. Now he might get a better shot somewhere else, but if your comparing Toronto and Detroit, Toronto wins in that regard.I actually see the goalie situation as similar between Washington and Toronto. Young guys with potential, but in need of a mentor short term. Maybe Vokoun has interest in a similar role again.
