Huge trade – Miller to the Blues

The first major trade domino has fallen.

Are the Sabres looking to trade Ehroff?

Add Buffalo Sabres defenceman Christian Ehrhoff to the list of players the team is considering dealing before the NHL’s trade deadline.

It would take more than Callahan to land Kesler

Girardi’s agents and Rangers GM Glen Sather are not believed to be far apart on the numbers, reportedly around a six-year deal worth $5.5 million per season. Callahan, on the other hand, is believed to be seeking a seven-year contract for close to $7 million per season, both higher than Sather would prefer.

Dale Tallon insists there will be no fire sale as trade deadline approaches

With the NHL’s trade deadline less than a week away, the Panthers could undergo another massive roster overhaul.

For a team miles out of a playoff spot, that may not be a bad thing.

Martin Brodeur trade rumors heat up with Blackhawks, Wild scouting Devils

Has Kesler asked for a trade out of Vancouver?

Could the Leafs trade Bolland?

In Toronto, Dave Bolland is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. How are negotiations going there, and what are the chances he’s still a Maple Leaf on March 6?

Ottawa Senators Chris Phillips could be on the move

Chris Phillips realizes Thursday could be his last game at Canadian Tire Centre as a member of the home team.

He doesn’t need the reminder he’ll get when he sees his old friend Daniel Alfredsson wearing a Detroit Red Wings jersey.

Nobody thought Alfredsson, a Senators’ lifer like Phillips, would ever leave the organization, right?

Could the Canucks trade Kesler?

This assumes the Canucks, despite speculative reports, aren’t planning to trade Kesler.

A trade involving Kesler, widely coveted for his two-way game the way Canuck Trevor Linden was a generation ago, would cause a seismic shift in an organization whose core group of players has gone largely unchanged for years even as the team slips a little farther each season from its Stanley Cup final peak of 2011.
