DiPietro Signs [15 YEAR] contract with Isles!!!!
The New York Islanders will announce today that they have signed goalie Rick DiPietro to a 15-year, $67.5 million contract.
The deal is believed to be the longest in NHL history and second only in major North American pro sports to the $25-million, 25-year deal Magic Johnson signed with the NBA Lakers in 1981.

anyone who studies politics as closely as i do, knows that the bush team had an agenda that included plans to go into iraq from before they even got in the building. they blantantly used 9/11 as a cover for doing something they were going to do anyway.
they know iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. and if WMD’s were there real concern how did they manage to NOT look at iran, and n. korea, both of whom were already trying to acquire the technology at that time?

If Lamorillo thinks a 7 year contract is worth it??? Many many many more times than not it is! If Lamorillo signed Depitro to this outragous contract insted of the Isles for example… Most people would say, Lou must know something we don’t!
Clearly the wrong Isles owner went to jail for fraud! If I remember correctly where Wang is from honnor is the most important thing above all else… But a 15 year contract makes no sence at all and if anything, it has dishonnored the respectability of how the Isles management does business! This makes no sence at all no matter where you are from!

i’ll let you continue to believe you understand the world, and politics. even though it is widely known that Bush Sr. strongly advised Jr. NOT to do this, as did Brent Scowcroft Bush Sr’s head of Defense, Colin Powell and George Schultz.
It is also widely known that Bush Sr. has had a tense relationship with Jr. since the start of the war, and is disgusted at his stupidity. Which is partly why he has invited Bill Clinton (who took weekly intel meetings about Al Qaeda, while Bush Jr. took NONE until after 9/11!) to N.H 11 times, and his son twice!
Please learn to read great American authors (who unlike you work from the inside) like Woodward, Baer,
Alter, Novak, and Suskind. A potent mix of liberals, and conservatives, who have all reported what I just wrote as fact, you idiot.
And the next time you want to closely examine how best to fight the War on Terror (which we ALL agree needs to be fought), try asking yourself why 150k U.S troops have been committed to a country that has nothing to do with 9/11, while Iran, and Bin Laden (still on the lose in Afghanistan, where the 150k troops SHOULD be) run wild.
