Various media outlets are reporting that superstar Jaromir Jagr may be on the trade block. According to Larry Brooks and Mark Everson, Sather is open to “Knock me out” offers. It will be interesting to see what teams will do in this situation. While the price tag for Jagr may be high, teams seem to go a little “crazy” on trade deadline day.

Yesterday they placed their third string goalie, Joey MacDonald on waivers and it is rumored that this cap space savings could total about 115, 000. Although not much in itself it could add up to possibly enough savings to allow the Wings to make some trades.
