Bucky Gleason of Buffalo News is speculating that Kevyn Adams may be on his way out of Carolina, after a recent fight with a team mate during practice, and reduced ice time.

Muckler said he would asses his team (The Ottawa Senators) during their last road trip, to see if he needed to make changes. The Sens were 1-3 on the road trip, beating only the struggling penguins.

I know it’s only 15 games or so for most teams in the NHL, but there is some talk going on. The three teams who will likely make are a deal are Philadelphia, Ottawa, and Calgary. Philly, and Ottawa, are underachieving, but Calgary has very disappointing, and for sure haven’t been playing like the Stanley cup contenders they were expected to be.

Apparently the Flyers are interested in signing Brian Leetch. Not sure if Ranger fans will be to happy seeing this(i won’t be), but if Leetch wants to play in the Atlantic Division Area it probably won’t be with the Rangers who knows…

With the signing of J.P. Dumont, the Nashville Predators may be forced to trade a forward. Scott Hartnell’s name has been mentioned due to his UFA status next summer. Other possibilities include Martin Erat and Scottie Upshall, who play the same position (right wing) as Dumont.

Rumours about restricted free agent David Aebisher intensify that the wings have made an offer to the Montreal goalie and that is why the talks between the Detroit GM and Belfour have stalled a bit.

The Wings are very interested in Aebisher but no names have been mentioned of whom the Wings would give in return if that deal could be made.

According to The Score, the San Jose Sharks are expected to deal goaltender Vesa Toskala to the Ottawa Senators for right winger Martin Havlat.

According to several reports including the Team 990 in Montreal and La Presse, the Montreal Canadiens are about to pull the trigger on a deal that would send G David Aebischer and a 2nd round draft pick to Tampa Bay for speedy scorer Martin St. Louis.

There are alot of guys who’ll be available at the deadline. Them not being traded by now just means this’ll be the most exciting March 9th in a long time! So who’s going where??
