Hockey and Music and The Top 100 From 1997-2002

Well, the votes have been tabulated and the votes are in with regards to hockey and music, as well as my critical picks for the best 100 songs from 1997-2002. Here are the results:

McHockey Brothers on Spector's Are a Real Joke!

This made me furious, but then laugh at the stupidity and ignorance of these brothers. You’re in for some fun! Find out who is THE WORST goalie in the NHL, at least…who the McHockey Brothers think is the worst goalie.

Spector’s Hockey (http://spectorshockey.tripod.ca/default.html) is reporting that a McLaren for Kovalev deal might be in the works. This trade would benefit both teams as Mclaren would fill the defensive gap made when Kasparitis left and Kovalev would help replace the loss of Bill Guerin.

Is it just me or is this deal so lop-sided in favor of the Bruins? Kovalev had 76 points in 67 games last year, a Point per game of 1.12. He was the Pens’ offensive leader and I can’t see the pens replacing him. What do you think of this rumor?

TSN Sports Forcaster has come up with the 2001-02 Dirty Dozen Awards, which goes to the worst player in the given category.

Without further delay, here they are:

Philly fans

A lot of people say all Philadelphia sports fans are crazy because of past things that they have done. The past incidents of a fan falling into a penalty box, throwing batteries at a baseball game and booing when a all pro wide reciever gets seriously injured. In this article, I will explain why.

With Rucinsky ….Rangers have 2 players too many.

With the Addition of Rucinsky, which should take place in a day or two…. The Rangers find themselves with an overload of players…..

12 offense men are needed for 4 lines…..

But the Rangers have 14….

Lindros, Bure, Nedved, Holik, Dvorak, Rucinsky, Mess, Samulson, Lundmark, Lyashanko, Oliwa, MaCarthy, Barnaby, and Murry……

Jason York and Mike Bab***** are not seeing eye to eye already.

This adresses to CUJO, Leafs and Wings fans.(I think this is more logical than Koivu)

No Vezina, Hart or Stanley Cup wins doesn’t exactly spell superstar, yet people keep talkin on how great he is.

TSN.ca is reporting:

The Dallas Stars have re-signed left-winger Brenden Morrow to a three-year deal.

Montreal Canadiens General Manager, André Savard, announced today a 4-year contract extension for defenceman Craig Rivet. Rivet is now under contract with the Canadiens until the end of the 2006-07 season.

Western Conference: Alot of changes over in the west this summer, many teams have changed and from a non-playoff team into possible Stanley Cup Contenders. Every year the standings are close, last year just six points separated the ninth from the fourth place team. What are your predictions for the West?

Last season as I watched Saku Koivu’s first game back, I saw all of Montreal’s fans on their feet for, what seemed like an eternity. Battling cancer for almost an entire year, and then coming back to finish the rest of the regular season and the playoffs was truly a heroic feat. But as I sat there watching the game I wondered to myself why the networks and the Canadians fans were so happy to see this guy back.

I honestly want to know why everyone loves this guy so much. I can see that he has a lot of heart and leadership, but what else has he done. He has only scored 20 goals once and the most points he has ever had was 57. This doesn’t seem like a superstar to me. I really want to know what the big deal is with this guy; so Habs fans, let me know.
