I am not going to guess on whether Leetch will sign with the Rangers or not, Maybe they will use Pock or Staal.

I would welcome Leetch into the lineup with open arms. I didn’t know Rozsival was hurt until I read it on TSN.

WFAN660 in New York and NewYorkRangers.com are reporting that Rangers RW Jed Ortmeyer is out indefinitely after being diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism.

Eklund is reporting that the Rangers may be interested acquiring another D-Man this offseason. However, it looks like it isn’t going to be Brian Leetch, the Rangers are apparently showing interest in recently released David Tanabe.

As of right now the Rangers have quite a solid bunch of signed players through next season, and at this point it is just a question of who will make the lineup, and who might be traded. Here is what the Rangers have at each position:

Word on other Rumor sites is that the Rangers have been shopping Kevin Weekes around the League and that he has requested a trade as of last week. Supposedly Sather has talked to the Panthers and the Blues.

Ok, yeah the Rangers signed Brendan Shannahan to a 4 million dollar contract for a year. They signed Cullen and Ward which I as a Ranger fan was happy about. And I would love to see Brian Leetch wear a Ranger Jersey just one more time but….

The Toronto Sun reports that sources claim the Rangers are considering bringing back former Rangers blueliner Brian Leetch.

According to Sports Radio 66 WFAN in New York City, the New York Rangers have made an offer to Brendan Shanahan. While listening to the 20-20 updates, Jerry Recco stated that the Rangers are currently waiting to hear a response from Shanahan on whether or not he’ll take their deal.

I think the Rangers bigest problem isn’t necesarily that they don’t have a PP QB, it’s that they don’t shoot a whole lot. This has been a problem pretty much their entire non-playoff trend of late. They look for one or two set up one-timers and if they don’t get it, they don’t shoot it.

Heard through the rumor mill that the Bruins are thinking about trading Brian Leetch for Tom Poti. Don’t know how lagit this is, but I say go for it.

With Petr Sykora on board to join Jagr, Straka, Rucinsky, Malik, Prucha and Rozsival, could Glen Sather have more Czechs up his sleeve???
