Burke shopping Tlusty, Ponikarovsky, Antropov and Stralman?
If anyone was listening into the FAN 590 today, Bob McKenzie has stated that Brian Burke is starting to take offers on propsects Jiri Tlusty, Anton Stralman, and current Leaf players Nik Antropov and Alexei Ponikarovsky.
Pronger to the Bruins a done deal?
James Murphy of SBNation is reporting that the Bruins and Ducks have apparently agreed to a trade in principle that would see Pronger go to the Bruins. (Note from HTR that this is an unknown source.)
Guerin on the move?
Accordin to TSN, Bill Guerin was pulled from the New York Islanders lineup just after the warm-up.
A somewhat bizzare chain of events occurred tonight involving New York Islanders forward Bill Guerin.
Guerin was pulled from the Islanders’ lineup after the warmup, just prior to this evening’s game against the Buffalo Sabres.
Gainey could look like a genius!
Bob Gainey could come out of the off-season Free Agent Frenzy looking like a genius. Now that is not to say that he has become somewhat heightened in his intelligence level but rather more likely a stroke of luck with the current econmic turmoil in the world.
