Whats new with TO and Philly!

How the popular teams are fairing…. I will just start with the 2 biggest teams I feel that are supported on this website. I am by no means inferring that these are the 2 most popular teams. And by no means am I saying that the other teams are better or worse than these 2 teams.

Who's stopping the puck?

The Los Angeles Kings have 4 goaltenders capable of playing NHL games, but none capable of doing it well…

Rumor Roundup

I have heard many rumors lately in the past 2 days, and I will give you what I can remember.

Marc-Andre Bergeron scratched for last two

ICONSMI

Marc-Andre Bergeron has been a healthy scratch for the Islanders in their last two games. Looks like Bryan Berard has taken over the PP. But why sit Bergeron? Anyone hear anything?

Atlanta perfect trade partner

If Bob wants Price in the big show for good he’s got to give him the #1 job and bring up Halak for back up. With Lethenon out for Atlanta this is the perfect time to move Huet who has really helped out his value with the way he’s been playing. But I say if we can add more offense then lets go with Price and Halak.

Coaching speculation in Atlanta

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is providing speculation regarding a possible replacement for coach Bob Hartley.

Kovalev in the dog house

Bruce Garrioch from Slam Sports is reporting that Alex Kovalev is quickly entering into coach Carbonneau’s doghouse.

This Years Habs

First post so please don’t destroy me if you don’t agree.

So far the Habs have a 2-2-2 record and that could be worse looking at the teams they have played so far not to mention only 2 home games.

LEHTONEN RE-INJURES GROIN!

Kari Lehtonen re-injured his groin and was pulled 11:30 into the first period in Atlanta’s 5-3 win over the Rangers tonight. In an interview after the game, Don Waddell was quoted as saying “certainly, he’ll be out a while.”

Time for Grabovski to be demoted to Hamilton?

Michail Grabovski has not proved himself as 2nd line center and will probably be sent back to Hamilton shortly. After surviving the the final cut in training camp, he hasn’t been able to contribute any offensive since the start of the season. He’s been demoted to the 3rd line during most of the games he’s started and replaced by Plecanec, who spent most of last season playing with Kovalev. He has shown some interesting speed and skill, but in general he looks totally out of place, rarely able to get in on the play. RDS commentators agree that he shouldn’t be around for much longer.

Why Montreal Is NOT Going to Trade Halak

I have reached my limit with Halak rumors. Already, 5 games into the season, he must have been involved in over 5 rumors…
