Is Staal’s time in Carolina finally up?
Cox discussed Eric Staal’s situation in Carolina, saying that he’s been in a kind of limbo waiting to see if his time with the Hurricanes is finally up. Staal is a UFA at the end of this season. His agent will reportedly have a meeting with Hurricanes brass some time next week.
